I wake up in the morning and the first thing I do is check the room thermometer to make sure that the storm which passed last night did not damage our heaters. Then I wash my face and warm up some milk for my cereals. Then I start getting ready by putting my ski suit on. I go outside and check our gear which gathers important information such as temperature, humidity, pressure and so on. When I come back I have my coffee and I send all my recovered data to my colleagues on the mainland. Then if there are things to fix around the base camp I will try to do it. In the evening I eat dinner and then I write in my journal any important events that happened in that day. And then I go to sleep and I imagine myself in Hawaii.
