In Ilfov County, Brănești is an international festival of masks habits. This festival takes place every year and consists of dressing people in "cucoaice" or "cuci", followed by the traditional beating, the "cucii" are hitting the undisguised people with wisks and a palm on the shoulder to be healthy. There are numerous groups from outside the country, but also from Brănești who proudly represent the country.
