  2. It was a bad idea to sleep on the floor! My back is really hurting. I regret sleeping on the floor, since my back is really hurting now.
  3. Margaret left the window open and her desk got wet. It was silly of her. She wishes she hadn't left the window open. That way, her desk wouldn't have gotten wet.
  4. Why didn't you tell me about the exam? I didn't study for it. If only I had studied for the exam, I could've passed it.
  5. Jim's parents bought him an electric guitar. They regret it now. They regret buying Jim an electric guitar.
