exemplu valoric:

x/z = 3/8 = k⇒ x = 3k si y = 8k
De obicei prin cerinta se mai da o relatie intre x si y
In aceasta relatie se inlocuiesc x si y functie de k, obtinute mai sus
Astfel se obtine valoarea lui k
Apoi cu k astfel obtinut determinam x si y
