It is true. In the third millenium, people are not as interested as they were a hundred years ago in reading books. Thus, the literature is falling down, due to the fact that people don't get the motivation of writing books.
However, from my personal experience, I can easily relate to the fact that, people tend to view information instead of reading it. For example, most teenagers get their information from YouTube videos or any other educational videos on the Internet. This thing has both positive and negative effects. But we are not discussing this in this topic. It is clear that people are more technologized now and they will prefer a movie or a documentary instead of a book or an article.
