f i know all about my friend i'll remember what he/she likes. if my friend likes cars i'll buy him a car from popular collection of cars. if she is a girl and she likes to draw i'll buy her more things that coloring pencils or markers. if i know good my friend i'll buy easily somethig what she/he'll like of course. but for a succesly choice i'll book me more time be cause it's a good rule - to book more time to buy any present

f I had to buy a present for someone,but I had only half an hour to do so,I would calm down and call that respective person.I would tell him/her that I got a present for him/her,and then,I would ask them to guess what it is.They will say what they would like,making it easier for me to buy something.What I wouldn`t do is that I wouldnt just panic because I dont have enough time to buy something,because,by panicking,my brain would stop working correctly,and this would make things even worse.In the worst case,I would buy something small,but beautiful,like a snow globe.
